1. Age and Authority
Customer represents that they are at least 18 years old and have legal authority to create an account, submit project information, upload photos/documents, authorize payment, sign project documents, and grant property access for the project address.
If customer acts on behalf of another owner, business, trust, spouse, landlord, tenant, HOA, condo association, property manager, or other property stakeholder, customer represents that they currently have authority to act for that party and will produce evidence of that authority on request. If additional owner, HOA, landlord, lender, or private-property approval is required for the work, customer must obtain that approval before the project becomes active or before the affected work begins.
2. Customer-Contractor Relationship
The signed Project SOW creates project-specific obligations between customer and contractor. Completa is not the contractor and does not control contractor means or methods. Customer may not interfere in contractor's employment or management of crew, supervise contractor labor as employer, or request work outside the approved SOW/change-order process.
3. Property Information and Access
Customer must provide complete and accurate project information, site conditions, dimensions, access limitations, parking restrictions, pets, hazards, utilities, water/electric availability, HOA/deed/landlord requirements, and other facts relevant to pricing, scope, schedule, permits, and safety.
Materially inaccurate customer information may support a change order, cancellation, partial refund, failed-visit fee under the Visit and SOW-Lite Economics Supplement, or dispute decision under the applicable policies.
4. Uploaded Content
Customer represents that uploaded photos, videos, messages, documents, property records, and project information are accurate, lawful, and authorized. Customer grants Completa, its affiliates, the contractor, and approved service providers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, store, copy, display, modify, transmit, analyze, and create project records from uploaded content for project intake, estimation, SOWs, contractor review, performance, completion evidence, disputes, warranty, fraud/safety review, support, legal compliance, approved AI/OCR processing, and platform improvement consistent with the Privacy Policy.
This license continues for as long as Completa retains the content under the Privacy Policy and survives account termination as needed for records, audits, disputes, warranty, fraud/safety review, tax/accounting, legal compliance, and legally required retention. The license is irrevocable for completed project records, signed SOWs, change orders, payment records, dispute/warranty evidence, audit logs, and legal holds already created from uploaded content, and revocable for forward-looking marketing or optional platform-improvement use through the Privacy Policy request process where required by law.
5. Payment Authorization
Customer authorizes Completa to charge or debit the selected payment method through the selected payment rail for approved project amounts, funded milestones, diagnostic/inspection fees, approved change orders, disclosed customer fees, disclosed payment-processing or card-processing fees where applicable, taxes where applicable, and other amounts authorized by the SOW or platform terms.
For above-threshold marketplace projects where ACH-first checkout is active, customer may choose ACH bank transfer with no customer-paid processing fee or may choose the credit-card rail with the disclosed Card Processing Fee added to the total. The credit-card rail accepts credit-card funding only for that checkout path. Customer authorizes Completa and Stripe to validate card funding type and to block debit, prepaid, or unknown card funding from that credit-card option.
Payment authorization does not by itself authorize work start. Work may not begin until required SOW signatures, verification gates, successful funding or other expressly approved payment state, and permit/HOA prerequisites are complete.
6. Reviews and Communications
Customer must use platform messaging and review features honestly and lawfully. Customer may not threaten reviews to obtain work outside the SOW, request off-platform payment for active Completa projects, harass contractor personnel, publish confidential or private information, or post knowingly false statements.
7. Customer Non-Circumvention
For any project initiated, matched, scoped, estimated, documented, or paid through Completa, customer may not use Completa records, contractor introductions, SOWs, pricing, messages, or project workflows to bypass Completa for the same project, related scope, change orders, callbacks, warranty work, or disputes.
For a Completa-originated marketplace project, customer may not hire the matched contractor outside the platform for the same or materially related scope for twelve months after SOW signing, except for emergency work that cannot reasonably be processed through Completa or where applicable law requires otherwise.
For customers properly classified as Completa Connect customers under the Connect origin attestation, the contractor keeps the pre-existing customer relationship, but the specific Connect project and related scope must stay on-platform for SOW, payment, change orders, disputes, warranty, and records.
8. Customer Indemnity Cross-Reference
Customer indemnity obligations and the corresponding Completa-fault carve-outs are governed by the Master General Provisions Addendum, including the Customer Indemnity section. This supplement does not expand customer indemnity beyond the Master General Provisions Addendum.
9. Non-Waivable Rights
Nothing in the Customer Terms waives rights that cannot be waived under applicable law, including payment-network rights, privacy rights, consumer-protection rights, warranty rights, construction-defect rights, or statutory notices where applicable.
