Know a place that needs fixing?

Nominate it with up to 5 photos. Our team checks it, then neighbors vote.

Vote for the fixes you want.

Each month, the fix with the most votes in each community wins. If two fixes tie, voting there keeps going until one pulls ahead.

Fixes across all seven communities

The rules, in plain words.

What can I nominate?
Mostly shared and public places: a park bench, a trail, a playground, a community sign or fence. A home can count too, when the family living there truly needs the help. If it isn't your home, ask the people who live there first.
How big can a repair be?
A winning repair can cost up to $5,000, and Completa pays for it. The person who nominated it and the owner pay nothing. Our team checks that each nomination fits within that when it reviews it.
How are winners picked?
Every month, the fix with the most votes in each of the seven communities wins. That's up to seven repairs a month.
What if there's a tie?
Voting in that community keeps going until one fix pulls ahead.
How does voting work?
Each person gets 3 votes, one per fix, to use in any community. While voting is open you can take a vote back and give it to another fix. One browser counts as one person, and we remove votes that look automated or duplicated.
Who checks nominations?
The Completa team reviews every nomination before it goes on the board, to make sure it's a fix we can take on. We may decline or hide any nomination.
Who says the work can go ahead?
Before any work starts, we get permission from whoever owns the place: the city, an HOA, a school, a landlord or the homeowner.
Who can take part, and what does it cost?
Anyone can vote, and anyone 18 or older can nominate. It's free: there's nothing to buy and no sign-up.
What happens to my photos and email?
Approved nominations and their photos are public on this page. We remove location and camera details from every photo. Your name, the "where is it" note and any pin go only to our team. Your email is optional, and we use it to tell you how your nomination does. Please keep people's faces, license plates and house numbers out of your photos.
Can I report an emergency here?
No. For an emergency, call 911. To report a problem to the city, contact your city.
Why is Completa doing this?
Completa is a Greater Austin home-services app: homeowners use it to plan projects and book local pros. The Fix List is one way we give back to Greater Austin. Questions? Email support@completa.io.
