One sentence

Completa is an Austin-first home-project platform where homeowners get a real-time estimate, match with local pros, and manage the project through closeout—not a pay-per-lead marketplace.

Company boilerplate

Completa is building a connected way to run Austin-area home projects. Homeowners use Completa to describe work, get a real-time, scope-based estimate where the submitted details support one, match with local pros, and manage the same record through milestones, approved changes, payment records, and closeout. A matched pro reviews the project-specific scope and confirms or adjusts the price before work begins. Independent contractors use Completa Pro to review scope and price, manage the job, communicate with the customer, and preserve completion evidence. Completa does not charge contractors per lead or merely to receive or view an opportunity; current matching is not pay-to-play. Completa was founded by Steve and Munduu.

Origin

Built from both sides of the job.

Steve learned the transaction through specialty-trade operations: estimating, selling, scheduling, managing crews, collecting payments, and keeping the books. Munduu built production AI and technical systems that turn complicated information into dependable workflows. After knowing each other since second grade, they started Completa to make one project understandable to both sides.

Language guardrails

Five distinctions that keep the story accurate.

  1. 01

    The real-time estimate is scope-based.

Project details produce the estimate. A matched pro reviews field conditions, access, products, permits, and the project-specific scope before confirming or adjusting the price.

  2. 02

    Payment holds are not escrow.

Use the product’s current payment language and transaction disclosures; do not substitute a broader legal or financial claim.

  3. 03

Greater Austin is the service area; each project still needs a fit.

A particular trade, project type, schedule, and matching result still depend on the submitted scope and professionals available for that request.

  4. 04

    Contractors remain independent.

Completa helps both parties share a clearer record; it does not perform the trade work or replace professional judgment.

  5. 05

    Completa is not pay-per-lead.

Contractors are not charged merely to receive or view an opportunity, and current matching is not pay-to-play. Approved marketplace fees apply to released payouts on accepted work under the current fee schedule.
